The wait is over for Volkswagen Tiguan fans as the all-new third-generation Tiguan SUV is now available to lease, pcp. buy or finance, with OTR prices starting from £34,060.
The Tiguan SUV is a global best seller, with over 7.5 million sold over the course of the last two generations.
The new Tiguan comes with fresh engine options, improved technology, more space and practicality and a sharper design. The updated mid-size family SUV class is expected to give tough competition to the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Nissan Qashqai, and the Ford Kuga, which are some of the leading models in this segment.
Available in four different trim levels - entry level version, Life, Elegance, and R-Line, there is something for every taste and budget. The base version comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and 12.9-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, parking sensors front and rear, LED headlights, lane-keep assist and driver-attention alert.
The Life version comes with additional features such as 18-inch wheels, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, park assist, auto main beam, comfort seats, ambient lighting and a wireless smartphone-charging pad.
The Elegance version is more refined and offers LED Plus headlights, acoustic glass, chrome grille trim, heated and massaging front seats, keyless entry, Park Assist Pro and larger 19-inch wheels. The R-Line version carries a sportier look and boasts a gloss black finish, 20-inch alloys and sports seats.
The new Tiguan has a choice of three engine options, which include two mild-hybrid petrols and a single turbocharged diesel; each are paired with seven-speed automatic transmission. Volkswagen will also offer two plug-in hybrid powertrains later this year, which will offer up to 62 miles of all-electric running.
Overall, the new Volkswagen Tiguan is a great addition to the SUV family, offering a combination of style, performance, and practicality. All Vehicle Contracts Ltd Published: Jan 21 2024
